Play for P.I.N.K. (Prevention, Immediate diagnosis, New technology, Knowledge) was started in 1990 by a group of women who were saddened when one of their friends was diagnosed with breast cancer. They decided to host a golf tournament to raise money for breast cancer research with all proceeds going directly to this vital research. Since 1990, the number of tournaments held across the country has expanded, and the group has donated all of the monies raised -- $48.2 million and counting -- to its sole beneficiary -- the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. We are asking all members who play in this event to open their wallets and give whatever they can to help support this crucial mission. The format is best two of four.
